Best dining experience in town ever. I literally just ordered a coffee and the shop owner give us a sample of their new avocado smoothies. Then I feel so hungry so me and my friend ordered 2 beef sandwiches. 24$ for everything on the table. Amazing Kebab meat and amazing hospitality!!!! Also great pickles.

Stopped in on a whim and so glad we did! Hadn't even planned on picking up anything to eat, but everything looked so good we couldn't resist. Planned on just getting a little snack, got two skewers to try, one chicken and one kufta. They came out with pita, sauce, and a veggie mix, when we thought we were just getting the meat! Everything was amazing and the value for the money was unbelievable. It was less than $15 and me and my other half split it, and both had plenty to eat for a meal, even if we had to fight over the... pickles (?). We hadn't had any experience with this type of cuisine before, but we will definitely be back to explore more new things! Everyone working both in the Cafe and the attached store were incredibly friendly and helpful also. Absolute pleasure! Thank you so much, we look forward to our next visit!

We had a mixed experience here. We specifically went to Strawberry Fields while traveling through the area because of the reviews in the “Find me Gluten Free” app, and the info on their website indicated still having many GF options. Thankfully they did indeed still have GF cake slices, and the chocolate cake we had was amazing. The lunch options were much more limited however, and the staff was not well informed about what was gluten free or not. Additionally, the staff seemed overall very inexperienced and without written materials to reference for questions that other customers had while we were there. Service was also extremely slow although it did not seem all that busy.

The food was ok for the price. Beef shawarma was ok for the price but it could be more tasty. I liked the turkish coffee. I did not like the chicken kebob; do not expect real kebob when you order chicken kebob. I will probably visit there again for their turkish coffee. The waiteres was nice and attentive.

The new owners have changed the menu and the food is so good. I go as much as I can. The spices are perfect and I love the lamb

As I am new in town, I have noticed this place while I was walking to downtown Urbana. I decide to give it a try so I ordered kuffa with stewed potato, okra and mushroom ravioli. Everything was delicious, especially the smoky kuffa. A full lunch for only $7 after tax. Will definitely come back.

I had a vegan vanilla cupcake, and surprisingly, it tasted really good. It seems they make them in small quantities since there was only one vanilla or chocolate cupcake available. If you plan to order a lot, it's best to call ahead. Next to the place, there's an international supermarket that resembles the commons market, offering a wide range of organic foods. The atmosphere was warm, and the air had a spicy aroma typical of a cultural market. The lady at the counter was friendly, and the service was excellent and humble. The cupcake itself was quite large, and I'm not sure if they provide nutritional information for those who count calories. They also had other homemade foods and miscellaneous items on display.
